We contracted with Martin Homes to complete a renovation of an existing sun room, a replacement/expansion deck and a new screened-in porch.
From start to finish Joe Martin monitored the job, the subs and the work on a daily basis. Each day he checked in with the homeowner (me) to ensure that I knew who would be going to the house the following day and what work would be done.
This is the 6th major construction project I have completed on various properties over the past 27 years and Martin Homes was the most professional contractor with whom I have done business.
His staff is helpful, his carpenters (especially Bruce) were neat and cleaned up each day so that we could live in the home during the ongoing construction.
Change orders were documented in writing and signed off on or sent via email with confirmation from me before he would proceed.
Joe Martin is a stellar professional in an industry that has a bad and often well-deserved reputation for its lack of ethical, qualified construction professionals. In short, we were not disappointed in our choice of contractor and would hire him for future jobs.

The Martin Corp. quoted on and was given the opportunity to eliminate a screened outdoor porch and add just over 500 square feet to our home in the Pocono Mountains and modernized a number of items in the other part of our home as well.
The addition included a mud room with a very large walk in closet with shelves, a bathroom with oversized shower, and a large great room complete with a clothes closet and an additional outside entrance to the home.
Martin Corp.'s quote was very competitive and included improvements that were recommended by their owner, Joe Martin. Over and over, Joe demonstrated a kind and caring demeanor, and tremendous attention to detail.
